The world's largest conference on HIV/AIDS is getting underway in the Australian city of Sydney with over 5,000 delegates attending.
The conference will examine research suggesting that male circumcision can reduce HIV infection rates by 60 per cent.
The participants are also being urged to sign a declaration, which is aimed at boosting HIV research funding.
